To set the time, pull up on the top knob and rotate to the appropriate time, then push back down. To wind the clock, make sure the top knob is pushed down and rotate it clockwise. Though it is not necessary to wind fully, make sure to stop as soon as you feel pressure. When fully wound, clocks will run up to 48 hours if not in motion, even longer if it is.
